§ 99.99. PENALTY.

Any person, who shall violate any provision of this chapter or who shall disobey any lawful order issued in pursuant of the provisions of this chapter, shall be guilty of a civil infraction, and subject to a fine of up to $100. Imposition of any penalty for a violation of this chapter shall not be construed as a waiver of the right of the city to collect from the defendant the costs of the tree or work done by the city which the defendant was required to pay, but failed to pay under the provisions of this chapter.
